Managing Director - Alberto Alonso

Alberto Alonso founded cibsys jointly with Chris after 6 years of creating and growing the IT company ABATEC SL.  This successful company is now part of the cibsys group.

Prior to founding ABATEC Alberto was regional CIO in Spain for Dresdner Bank, where he implemented and ran the regional banking systems and infrastructure for 15 years.

Alberto Alonso was educated at Politecnia University in Madrid and was trained in systems development and project management at the software consultancy Cibernos SA.

Managing Director - Chris Ham

Prior to founding cibsys Chris Ham was European CIO for Dresdner Kleinwort with pan-European responsibility for IT delivery and service.  During his 7 years at  Dresdner Chris also had a number of other senior roles and was responsible for Global Infrastructure, Risk, Operations and Finance Systems, and for supporting the Global Financing business.

Before moving to Dresdner Chris was Head of Risk IT for BNP Paribas where he managed risk systems across the group globally, both retail and wholesale.  At Paribas Chris also managed a wide range of projects including trading systems for the FX, derivatives and interest rate markets, sales and research systems, and systems for credit and market risk in the corporate and investment banking divisions.

Chris Ham was educated at Cambridge University and was trained in IT, banking and consultancy at Price Waterhouse, Robert Fleming and UBS.
