Software is developed in either the Microsoft tool set, especially c#/.NET/MS SQL Server, and related tools, or in the Open tool set based on Java/ JSP/ PHP and combined with databases such as My SQL, Oracle or Sybase, and Unix/Linux. Creativity of web and report design are critical success factors on projects, as are careful design of documentation, databases and interfaces.
All projects are run using agile and rapid application development methods as speed of delivery at a high quality is expected by clients. Iterative creation of design, code, test plans and technical documentation–in fast, short releases–ensures regular upgrades for customers.
In the business area, the aim is to specialise in the front-to-back workflows connecting the sales and trading with the operational risk, financial reporting and controlling parts of the business chain. Many of these techniques and challenges span the following sectors: corporate and banking, retail and wholesale.
