The group now provides IT services to a range of banks and corporate customers in Europe including: Fortis Bank, Dresdner Bank, Savile Group, IBA Group Ltd. and Impaq.

For our customers outside Spain the cibsys group is able to provide near-shore teams from our Spanish IT centre to complement the local expertise.  This provides the most cost effective development project capacity and quality infrastructure services.  In many cases we can halve the costs of local providers.

cibsys was founded by Chris Ham and Alberto Alonso as a group of companies to provide quality, cost-effective IT services to corporate, investment and banking clients.

We are a pan-European group able to provide quality IT services across the continent from our offices in London, Frankfurt and Madrid.

The Founders

Chris Ham started cibsys after more than 20 years of working with corporate, investment and banking systems at a range of European banks and corporations, including Dresdner Kleinwort, BNP Paribas, UBS, Robert Fleming and, consultancy Price Waterhouse.

Alberto Alonso, founded the spanish company ABATEC, in 2001 after 15 years of working in the Spanish banking market with Cibernos SA, and Dresdner Bank.  Alberto and his teams' extensive infrastructure and IT experience now provide cibsys clients with an assurance of quality IT service levels.

With experience not only in investment banking, but also in working with corporate customers, investment houses, and in retail banking, our teams can provide fresh ideas to any systems related challenge.
